We spent Friday at our tannery in Pennsylvania—Wickett & Craig—one of the last two vegetable tanneries in the country. Vegetable tanning is a much older and safer method than the more-common Chrome tanning, and it produces a harder-wearing product. We've worked with a wide variety of domestic and international tanneries, and we think these guys produce the finest leather we've seen. They've been in business for 150 years, so it's safe to say they know their way around a hide. See a few photos below.
